Trelvan began as a field documentation project in South Jakarta in 2023. It has since grown into a structured editorial resource covering men's daily wellness, active lifestyle practices, and evidence-informed nutrition habits.
The project started with a single question: what does practical, evidence-informed daily wellness look like for men living and working in Jakarta? Not the abstract wellness promoted in global publications, but the kind shaped by local food availability, tropical climate, commute patterns, and the particular rhythm of urban Indonesian life.
The founding editorial team — comprising a qualified nutrition professional and two researchers with backgrounds in exercise science — began documenting specific routines, cross-referencing them with published research, and recording findings in a structured journal format.
Three years later, the archive holds over 140 documented entries across six topic categories, reviewed and updated on a rolling schedule. The methodology is published in full on the Methodology page.
Nutrition professional with seven years of research background in dietary habits among urban Indonesian men. Responsible for editorial direction and source qualification.
Exercise science background with a focus on functional fitness and body composition. Documents and reviews all entries in the Strength & Conditioning and Active Recovery categories.
Specialist in Indonesian food environments and balanced nutrition habits. Reviews all nutrition-category entries and maintains the journal's source citation archive.
Every entry is cross-referenced with published nutritional research. Anecdote is distinguished from evidence. Sources are cited and logged per entry.
Guidance is adapted for local food availability, Jakarta's tropical climate, and the cultural norms around eating, rest, and exercise in Indonesian urban contexts.
Trelvan does not accept sponsored content or promotional insertion. The journal does not represent any supplement brand, wellness company, or institutional body.
Entries are subject to periodic review and update as new research is published. Each entry carries a revision date and content classification. The archive is not static — it is maintained.
The editorial process — from source selection to publication standards — is documented in full.
